The eyes that said everything

Quiet like to my previous post(and exceptionally coincidental), I encountered another pair of eyes with a slight difference - the difference lied in the fact that these said everything that maybe could be said by words alone. They proved that 'Actions do speak louder than words' ...

Our plans were a bit different
We were waiting for something to start
But what actually started was not
For what we had come with our heart

But still, we thought of giving it a shot
And sit back and enjoy the act
So we did view the performance

Which was not initially in out pact

And gosh, it was really worth the chance
Cos what we saw amazed us to no level
The rhythmic feet and the perfect hands
And The eyes which were really a marvel

And then began the story of some other lands
Other lands I may be saying
But each and every bit was clear as crystal
as if the eyes were with our minds playing

Nothing could be more subtle
Each and every emotion clearly portrayed
Which added to the story's richness
And dazed by those eyes our heads swayed

The eyes had given the story harness
Which controlled its path throughout

So that the toughest of toughest scenes
Could be clearly depicted without a doubt

The eyes moved like fast machines

Capable of achieving any task
But they had the human touch
And hence there was nothing more for us to ask

Our knowledge of the talent was zero as such

But still every part of it seemed known
The credit goes to those wonderful eyes
Which said everything they wanted to, alone

PS
1) A complete coincidence that I actually saw these 2 opposite pair of 'talking' eyes :)
2) The above mentioned eyes were of 'Rama Vaidyanathan' who left us spellbound by her breath taking Bharatnatyam performance at IIT Delhi.

The eyes trying to say something

Those big, round eyes have completely put me under a spell. Like its popularly said उसने अपनी आखों से जादू कर डाला. I can spend my whole day gazing into them trying to understand what they want to say to me.
But whose eyes am I talking about? Let me tell you....

Those eyes, really big ones
Hoping on hope that someone would understand.
Eyes trying to say it all sometimes with the assistance of a hand

Big, bright and beautiful
Is how his eyes look to me
Gazing holding some mystery

Eyes show clearly that they want to tell you something
Yet no one seems to understand him
Eager to tell his small stories
Sounds start accompanying his eyes' whim

O' god, it really hurts me to an extent great
For I can't see him so desperate

Time passes by but he can't explain
How to tell the big ones my words
Eying all around in search of a method in vain

Little by little we do comprehend a bit
I say what his actons upon my mind hit
Then slowly slowly he starts smiling
That's when he indicates that we've got the thing
Little though it maybe but finally those
Eyes could say their poetry or prose

But who is this, about whom I don't tire writing about
O dear readers its my new cousin just 2 months old
Year it will take at least before his stories can actually be told

PS
1) I don't think I fared well in my last attempt. Hope this one is well received :)
2) Hey people. Please suggest some good names of my new cousin starting with दी.

When the clock strikes 11:55

Its been really a long time since  last wrote here. In fact its been 2 months now. I'm into my mid sem break now. Hope you are eager to here more because I'm extremely eager to write some words on this casual notepad of mine. So here goes a small poem which is attached very deeply to the life of all Computer Science people here at IITD.....

As the clock approaches 11:55
All our bodily functions seem to speed up
Our fingers move on the keypad
as bees in a beehive
when the clock approaches 11:55

As the clock approaches 11:55
the heart seems to fluuter loudly
as if dancing to the jive
when the clock approaches 11:55

As the clock approaches 11:55
our mind seems to think much better
and the ideas come out much faster
and into a world of algos* we dive
when the clock approaches 11:55

As the clock approaches 11:55
and we find ourselves unable to fight
we roam about here and there
to find an assignment on which we could thrive
when the clock approaches 11:55

As the clock slowly ticks to 11:55
and the assignment is finally complete
we quicly submit it and thank god
that we could survive
when the clock finally strikes 11:55
